Content of PIP
Professional Incubation Program
PIP is delivered in three structured phases, progressively building students from basic communication to corporate-level proficiency.
PHASE 1 – Basic Foundation
- Listening to audios/videos and answering MCQs as well as descriptive questions
- J1 Activity: Coming on stage and speaking for 1 minute about oneself
- Understanding body language and its role in effective speaking
- Reading a paragraph and answering comprehension-based questions
- Appearing for online assessments
- Mandatory newspaper reading
Focus: Building confidence, overcoming hesitation, and strengthening listening & basic speaking skills.
PHASE 2 – Advanced Communication
- Listening to longer videos, identifying new vocabulary, and answering related questions
- Delivering a 3-minute monologue on a given topic
- Participating in debates
- Reading a book and presenting a book review
- Appearing for online assessments
- Mandatory newspaper reading
Focus: Enhancing vocabulary, structured speaking, analytical thinking, and public expression.
PHASE 3 – Corporate Communication
- Preparing short videos on self or assigned topics
- Role play based on case studies
- Role plays simulating corporate meetings
- Preparing Agenda and Minutes of Meetings
- Drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Mandatory newspaper reading
- Writing corporate emails, quotations, and business proposals
Focus: Developing corporate communication skills and professional writing abilities.
